How to “sideload” PDFs and ePub books to the Nook from your desktop

First, you need Adobe Digital Editions and an Adobe ID


  1. Download the ebook to your desktop.
  2. Connect the Nook to your desktop using the Nook USB cable.
  3. Open your Adobe Digital Editions application. Click on the “Library” view. The Nook should appear as a “Bookshelf” on the left side in the Library view of your Adobe Digital Editions application, like this:

  4. Click on your new eBook. It should then automatically load to Adobe Digital Editions (if it doesn’t automatically load, you may need to “associate” the file with Adobe Digital Editions. To do this, follow these step…?
